Colors & Foods of the Rainbow

$625.00

June 1-5, 2026 (Ages 8-11)

Young chefs are invited into a vibrant week of creativity, color, and hands-on cooking inspired by the beloved cookbook The Forest Feast for Kids by Erin Gleeson, a New York Times bestselling author known for her stunning watercolor illustrations and fresh, imaginative recipes.

Throughout the week, campers will explore fruits, vegetables, and naturally colorful ingredients as they prepare cheerful dishes across the full spectrum of the rainbow. Along the way, they’ll build foundational kitchen skills, practice safe knife techniques, experiment with flavor and presentation, and discover how beautiful food can be both nourishing and fun to create.

Each camper will receive their own copy of The Forest Feast for Kids to take home— extending the inspiration long after camp ends and encouraging continued confidence in the kitchen.

The week concludes with a festive Rainbow Celebration Lunch showcasing what they’ve learned.

Designed to build confidence both in and out of the kitchen, this colorful week encourages campers to try new ingredients, develop safe knife skills, and practice following recipes independently in a supportive environment. Through hands-on cooking inspired by The Forest Feast for Kids, students strengthen creativity, teamwork, and decision-making while gaining comfort with fruits and vegetables in their natural forms. Campers leave not only with new recipes and their own cookbook to continue exploring at home, but also with a lasting sense of pride in what they can create themselves.
